Life Story for
Anna Kolarik
Anna Kolarik was born Anna Belle Clagg on March 6, 1933, in Milton, West Virginia. Her parents, Thomas Eugene Clagg and Malida May Clagg raised her and her brothers and sisters on a farm on Lower Creek. She was the youngest of nine—Luther, Harry, Eugene, Harold, Dorothy, Dollie, Nellie and Maxine. All but Eugene have passed on.
Anna graduated from Milton High School and soon after married Denver Harden. She had a daughter, Dianna who is now married to Leonard Bozek. When Dianna was nine months old they moved to Cleveland, Ohio seeking a better living. In 1964, her second daughter, Lisa was born. Lisa is currently engaged to Kenneth Fisco. Anna was a great mom and we loved her very much.
In 1977, Anna married Gilbert Kolarik. They were happily married until May 4, 2013, when Gil died. The two of them spent a lot of good times working in the garden. Anna won many awards for her flower garden and she and Gil were featured on a WVIZ television program.
Until she became ill in March she was very active. She loved playing bingo with all of her friends at St Rita’s, bowling three times a week and eating dinner at the Café in Stow almost everyday. She will be missed by all of us. FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FROM 10:00AM UNTIL TIME OF FUNERAL SERVICE AT 11:30AM ON, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2017 AT THE BLESSING-HINE FUNERAL HOME, 8592 DARROW RD., TWINSBURG, OH 44087 (1/2 mi.
